why can you add all that music? and not add more themes? or more wallpaper?
i mean come on i have all this art perfect backgrounds! fuck that add all the weird shit people have made (if nothing else then for shits and giggles) oxatol has made a solid them , i use it, its good
pluss why dont we have "special icons" for all our favorit apps? or why isnt compiz installed by default? why isnt awn installed by default? instant loading of nivida drivers (let you pick at install) how about loading the cd full of our favorite software, and remove the shit we hate
remove ubuntu one, add all of totems plugins, VLC, amarock, song bird, opera, shit even crome, anybody else got somthing they want to add how about software to hack wifi? that be sweet XD
I have not included your backgrounds because I don't think they fit in. Simple as that. However, plenty of people like them, so you should be pleased about that.
Compiz is installed by default, as it is with standard Ubuntu. nVidia drivers are presented with a restricted driver popup shortly after first login.
The rest of the applications are good suggestions, but space is VERY tight on the CD. Plus it's crammed full of music which takes up lots of space.
no see your missing my whole point, why waste the space on music when it could be used on soo much better, more usefull stuff
with just the same amount of effort and soo much less space you could the link ong the desktop too the jambeno page for the satainc music rather then put it on the disk
pictures, applications and themes are miniscule compaired to music
77MBs is a lot of space for a live cd
(good idea a flash dive iso thats 1gig or more) to be purly the crazy custom version :)
The albums are in /usr/share/music. Rhythmbox can search for it automatically, and you should have 'The Distro of the Beast' as a link under Applications > Sound & Video.
As for JohnsShadow's comments, I agree in some ways. I think we got a bit carried away and the album does take up a bit too much space. When we do another CD we'll probably go back to having just a few tracks and leave more room for software.
