Why don’t you add /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/Satanic/background.png into the /usr/share/backgrounds directory for convenience? I found that one to fit best with all the icons spread all over my desktop.
Otherwise, I love it!!!!
How do you get xscreensaver to show up in the KDE screensaver configuration? I know it’s supposed to work but they just don’t show up for me.
Thanks
PS: How about a grub splashimage for a Satanic experience right from the start?
Hi Warden – see the “KDM login Theme” section of the instructions at the top of this page. You need to edit a config file. Unfortunately, there is no graphical login theme manager on KDM.

Better use nano, because pico is just a symlink

Good idea about background.png – I’ll do that.
Not sure about KDE screensaver config – I don’t use KDE much myself, but I can have a look into it.
I’ll have a look into the GRUB stuff too.

hey great work
there is no mention of how to change the kdm theme to
the satanic theme.
after i install all this stuff everything is working except i still
have the same old boring kdm default theme.
if i go into system settings and appearance there is no satanic theme
to select under look n feel.
cheers
